Charity Golf Day Success
KLG Rutland support immune to the weather!
Like our windows and conservatories, KLG Rutland always make the best of miserable, rainy days: the one we braved at Beeston Fields Golf Club earlier this year was no exception.
Nevertheless we were delighted, once again, to be able to support The Rotary Club of Beeston’s charity golf day at Beeston on May 17th. And, despite the uninspiring weather that’s becoming something of a tradition for this event, proved a heart-warming success…
Over 96 hardy golfers teed off throughout the day, the highlight in the gloom being the raising of over £5,200 for Beeston’s Middle Street Resource Centre and other local charities. Our own golf didn’t enjoy quite the same good fortune, but all in a good cause, so who cares?!
