We have a position available and are looking for someone to join our skilled customer service team as a Showroom Reception Administrator.

Working in a small, friendly, team, answering telephone calls from existing and potential customers, advising and booking in customers, helping to co-ordinate the diaries for sales and service engineers.

Employment Opportunity – Window & Door Installer

KLG Rutland have been installing windows and conservatories for over 45 years and once again, because of our unprecedented success in bringing state of the art products to the marketplace, we have vacancies for Installers.

We are looking for experienced, Double Glazing Installers to join our existing teams.

KLG Rutland currently have vacancies in both our Retail and Commercial divisions the role will be on a fully employed basis.

You would be assisted by a registered apprentice. Duties would include:

Removing old windows and doors with hand and power tools measuring up the space(s) for the new windows or doors fixing the units in place, making sure they are level and secure sealing the fittings to make them weather-tight cleaning away leftover materials and making good any damage to indoor timber or plaster work. You will also assist in the assembly of some products.

Working around 39 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with possible overtime when necessary. You would work both indoors and outside, using ladders or scaffolding to reach the upper storeys of buildings. The work is physically demanding, with some heavy lifting involved.

The ability to work to a high standard is essential and the ideal candidate will need the following:

Five or more years’ experience in Windows, Doors, Conservatories, Aluminium Products. Alternatively, the vacancy would suit a time-served joiner. Rates of pay are high within the industry and are dependent on experience. Ultimately you will have responsibility for an apprentice installer.
