Do you fancy having a go at something creative in the run-up to Christmas? Perhaps you’ve been inspired by the Great British Bake Off, or maybe trying out your own lockdown bakes over the course of the year?

Now you can see if your baking could win you even more tasty treats! KLG Rutland is setting out to find the best gingerbread house of 2020. Enter the competition between Tuesday 1st December and Monday 14th December to be in with the chance to win a chocolate lover’s Christmas hamper!

To enter, simply upload a photo of your creation to the thread on our Facebook page. Our food-loving team will judge the entries based on their creativity and – most importantly – how much they make us want to eat them! We’ll announce the winner on Wednesday 16th December and send their hamper out in time for Christmas.

Quick storage tip – If you want your gingerbread house to stay fresh for Christmas day, you have a couple of options. Most recipes last for at least a couple of weeks anyway (and many last even longer), but storing them in an airtight container or deconstructing them to place in the freezer will help them keep even better. Or, let’s be honest, you could just treat yourself and eat it fresh!
