…KLG Rutland help make dreams come true!
Hucknall and Linby Dolphins Swimming Club is delighted to announce sponsorship continuation throughout 2017 from the big fish in East Midlands windows, KLG Rutland Ltd.

The KLG Rutland logo stands proud on the Dolphins’ new swim hats and, at its presentation evening later this year, the Club is looking forward to announcing the first ever winner of the ‘KLG Rutland Trophy’.
This is a new award given to the Dolphins’ Young Volunteer of the Year. Junior coaches/volunteers get a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and develop their skills through working with the Club’s senior coaches, and have become a vital part of the Hucknall and Linby teaching team. In return they provide invaluable poolside assistance and cover whenever needed.
Kevin Greenfield, the owner of KLG Rutland, joked with Club Chairman Terry Hill that he’d ‘always dreamed of swimming with dolphins’! More seriously, he asserted that young people deserve acknowledgement when they seek to improve themselves by doing something for others:
“After talking about the Dolphins with Terry I decided – as an employer of young persons on apprenticeships – that it seemed fitting for us to establish an award that would recognise the contribution to the community of these young volunteers.”
